Paul Vickers began his pre-professional dance training with Forum Dance Theatre outside of Chicago, Illinois, performing nationally and internationally in works by many Chicago-based choreographers including Eddy Ocampo, Brent Caburnay, and Nick Pupillo. He received his B.A. in Dance and minor in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and was awarded with the Outstanding Student Performer Award by the American College Dance Festival Association and Dance Magazine in 2012. While at LMU, Paul had the pleasure of working with and performing works by Ryan Heffington, Keith Johnson, Ursula Payne, Lauren Adams, and Chad Michael Hall.
Paul worked intimately with Benjamin Levy and Sidra Bell while dancing with San Francisco’s LEVYdance and has since worked with Holly Johnston/Ledges and Bones (CA), Heidi Duckler Dance Theater (CA), Korhan Basaran (NY), MADBOOTS DANCE (NY), BARE Dance Company (NY), ChrisMastersDance (NY), and Gallim Dance (NY). He is currently based in Tel Aviv, Israel dancing with Batsheva - The Young Ensemble.
